Garry Savill, Chairman of the South African Road Traffic Sign Manufacturers Association, was recently requested, by the Steering Committee responsible for the revision of SARTSM Volume 2, Chapter 13 Road Works Signing, to present a training module on Retro-reflective Sheeting Technology at the recently held draft document feedback session meetings at Aurecon in Pretoria, SANRAL Regional offices in Cape Town and Kingfisher Conference Centre in Mount Edgecombe, Durban. The sessions were well attended by representatives from all sectors of the roads construction industry, including NDot, SANRAL, Provincial Roads Departments, Local Councils and Municipalities, Consultant Engineers, Designers, Construction companies and Traffic sign Manufacturers.
